Beyond the horizon of personal experience is the infinite possibility to reinvent one's life.

for everyone
R.I.P. National Artists Awards. Once the democratic process of choosing the standards of artistic achievement among peers is violated, then it is becomes a charade of patronage and favoritism. Then there is no need to have a process at all. Maybe schools for the arts must begin having courses in P.R. rather than studio labratories.

Ayoko sanang i-bring up, pero nabalitang may away between protesters & CCP staff? E mismong CCP tutol sa pangyayari? Anybody who went willing to clarify?

dont know. all went really smoothly at the CCP as far as my experience went. thanks so much for the kind comments.

No such thing. CCP chair Emily Abrera was one of the leaders of the protest, and CCP had its own press conference, again led by Abrera, declaring its disgust over the bypassing or trampling of the selection process for the National Artists.

If I were Carlo J, I would return the award. Not so much because I don't think he deserves it, but because it's a fake award, given by a fake President. (Hellooo Garci). It would say more of his character to return it. Besides, you don't do good because you want an award, you do good because you want to help people. Sheez.
