for everyone
Over a million school children’s education have been affected by typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng, More than half of all public schools were located in disaster affected areas. One of the most tragic damages were to over 2,800 day care centers; many of them still having to be repaired and often relocated to higher ground.
The bottle school run is all about pioneering one possible solution to help rebuild. Used in many places around the world, self build construction using commonly disregarded PET 1.5 litro bottles as hollow blocks and mortar can raise again these fallen walls. We need your help to rebuild a pioneer school with your contribution of two (2) PET bottles and your running fee ( which will be used for cement and labor)

Wow! Sorry man, I'd help you guys, but we also have uses for our own bottles as well! We use them to collect the pull-tabs of our aluminum cans. The tabs become bags, bracelets, and other reusable items. This benefits the community in 2 ways: 1) livelihood for bagmakers 2) education from proceeds of the bags when sold :)

Plus of course our technical group now has recovery targets because we are mandated within the year to make our bottles using at least a mix of 10% recycled PET!

Hey would you be able to refer me to your junkshop contacts? Particularly I need more pull-tabs! M willing to (personally) buy the tabs from them. :)

Hi Illac! My 6 year old son has a project in school involving research on a
Filipino ´who has used his knowledge and creativity to further his or her own life as a human being and in the process made a significant contribution to humanity´. He has chosen you for this :), with focus on the bottle school. I´d like to bring him to see the school... can anyone just go to take a look? If so, what´s the name of the school so we can go look for it in Taguig? Thank you!
